Sam Allardyce (better known as 'Big Sam') has been appointed Everton manager today in hopes of saving what's left of the club's season. This was announced just one day after Everton's 4-0 thrashing of bottom-side West Ham , which Big Sam watched from the stands. The 63-year-old has signed a deal until the end of June 2019. Everton are on the worst run of form since 1984 this season. They've been abysmal since the  sacking of former manager Ronald Koeman more than 5 weeks ago, failing to get any points in both the domestic and European scenes.
